In September 2024, The Artist’s Window partnered with the London Mural Festival 2024, which brought over 100 murals to the city, created by some of the world’s top street artists.

As part of this collaboration, The Artist’s Window worked with Global Street Art to transform vacant retail and commercial spaces into vibrant art installations, aligning with the festival’s theme of “Connection.” These activations not only showcased the power of public art but also revitalised central London neighbourhoods by turning empty walls into visually stunning spaces for all to enjoy.

This initiative amplified the festival’s impact, creating lasting connections between art, community, and urban regeneration.

Key outcomes of the London Mural Festival 2024 collaboration

The Artist’s Window’s partnership with London Mural Festival 2024 brought key benefits:

  • Visual and social impact: The murals transformed vacant spaces, revitalising local communities and creating engaging public art experiences.

  • Exposure for artists and landlords: The festival offered significant visibility for artists and property owners, through event programming, media coverage, and increased foot traffic.

  • Urban regeneration and brand boost: The murals enhanced the visual appeal of neglected areas, supporting local artists while improving the brand image and social impact of the properties involved.

London Mural Festival is produced by Global Street Art, an award-winning creative company who work with world-class artists to deliver stunning content across impactful spaces, property and locations, for global brands.

This incredible hand-painted work for global brand Sol De Janeiro can be found on Tabernacle Street in London, and is just a small taster of the immense talent of the Global Street Art team.

Global Street Art's unique appeal lies in the powerful impact their artists' works can have on reactivating and enlivening the local area, and bringing art into local communities.

Our latest project with Global Street Art

The Artist's Window already work with Global Street Art, collaborating with landlords to place the work of their incredible artists into empty shop windows and retail spaces.

The talented pool of artists they work with created an impactful occupation of this empty retail unit in a rundown redevelopment site in Houndsditch, London.

We look forward to future collaborations with Global Street Art's artists bringing art to local communities and enhancing the neglected and vacant retail spaces of London.
